He was the son of Bartholomew Stodden and Anna R. Radke.1 
(sons) Census 1910Albert was listed as a son in the household of Barch Stodden (given age 45) on the 1910 Census recorded 27 April 1910 in Willow, Crawford County, Iowa. Albert appears in the 1910 census as a 16 year old son, but he was not enumerated with the family in the 1900 census in Newton County, Missouri.3 
Mlt WW I draft reg*The first World War I draft registration on 5 June 1917 required men between the ages of 21 and 31 to register and therefore included men born between June 5, 1886 and June 5, 1896. Albert J. Stodden registered for the draft on 5 June 1917 in Willow, Crawford County, Iowa. At the time of registration, Albert was single and working as a farm hand for Mrs. Mary Kunze, a widowed neighbor of the Stodden family. The clerk described him as being of medium height and slender build, with blue eyes and brown hair.2 
Death*Albert died on 15 August 1974 in Denison, Crawford County, Iowa, at age 80.1
