  10. The death certificate and church records disagree on the date of death. The death certificate has some serious inconsistencies in it. The date of death is given as July 20, but the physician attests to attending to his patient from July 9 through July 21, last seeing him alive on the afternoon of July 21. The date in the church record is deemed to be more credible and is the date used.
  11. [S107] Valentine Daniel, Death entry, died July 22, 1910, buried July 25, 1910, "Liber Mortuorum Congregationis Assumptionis Beatae Mariae Virginis, Diocesis Clevelandensis, Initiens Anno de 1867," (Photocopy of pages from original church book provided by James Daniel, 3682 Lowry Road, Los Angeles, CA 90027), Original document at the St. Michael's (now St. Gaspar) parish office,.
  12. Again, the death certificate and church record differ on date of burial. Given the inconsistency of other dates in the death certificate, and given the fact that the funeral and burial were held at the church, the date from the church record is considered more likely to be correct and is the date used.
