Also living in the household were his wife, Elisabeth Byrnes (given age 36), his sons, Daniel Byrnes (given age 4) and John Byrnes (given age 1). John and Elisabeth farmed in Monterey with their two sons.3 
Census 1900*Jos. P Byrne (given age 60) was listed as the head of household on the 1900 Census recorded 4 June 1900 in Monterey Township, Putnam County, Ohio. The official date of this census was 1 Jun 1900.
