Weidinger, 92, of Ashford Avenue, Bellevue, passed away Monday, March 11, 2006, at the Bellevue Hospital. She was born March 8, 1916, in Reed Township, the daughter of the late Cletus and Anna (Kanney) Alt. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church, the Daughters of Isabella, the Altar Rosary Society and the Four County Young at Heart. She spent many hours doing service work for the Immaculate Conception Church and school. Theresa loved playing cards with her card clubs. She is survived by her daughters, Rose (Donald) Reer of Plymouth, Mary (Rolland) Sassaman of Bellevue, Rita (Charles) Weisz of Bellevue and Agnes (Terry) Boesch of Sandusky; grandchildren, Donnie, Dennis and Daniel Reer, Christine Sassaman, Jennifer Martin, John and Jim Weisz, and Terra and Jared Boesch; nine great-grandchildren; her brother, Cletus Alt of Bellevue; and her sister, Anne (Harold) Wilhelm of Monroeville. In addition to her parents, her husband, Raymond "Ray" Weidinger, whom she married Oct. 19, 1940, at Reed Assumption Church; her son, William J. Weidinger; brothers, Carl, Leo, Mark and Justin Alt; and sisters, Gert Klaiss and Mary Martin preceded her in death. Friends will be received 2-9 p.m. Thursday, March 15, 2006, at Foos and Son Funeral Home, 311 W. Main St., Bellevue. The rosary will be recited 3:30 p.m. Thursday. The funeral will be officiated by the Rev. Ken Alt at 11 a.m. Friday, March 17, 2006, at Immaculate Church, 231 E. Center St., Bellevue. Burial will follow at Bellevue Catholic Cemetery. |
