Richard A. Hahler, 70, of 1208 SR 162, Willard, died at 5:15 a.m. Tuesday, May 19, 1998, in Hillside Acres, Willard.
He was born Dec. 25, 1927, in Norwich Township, to the late Joseph and Mary (Bischoff) Hahler.
Survivors include: two brothers, Robert and Howard Hahler of Willard; three sisters, Mrs. Helen Haspeslagh of Attica, Mrs. Ortrude Diehm of Willard and Mrs. Florence Brown of Bellevue; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A sister, Agnes L. Hahler, preceded him in death.
A member of St. Sebastian's Catholic Church and its Holy Name Society, Mr. Hahler retired from Fanny Farmer Candy.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Friday in St. Sebastian's Catholic Church, with the Rev. William G. Hoyng officiating. Burial will be in St. Sebastian's Cemetery, Bismark.
Friends may call 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today at the Lindsey-Foos-Kocher Funeral Service, 1295 W. Tiffin St., Attica, where the Rosary will be recited at 8:30 p.m.
Memorials may be made to the church, in care of the funeral home.
