NORWALK - Richard A. Kluding, 67, of Norwalk, died early Saturday morning in Firelands Community Hospital.

Son of the late Louis F. and Ida S. (Fries) Kluding, he was born March 6, 1932, in Norwalk. He was a lifelong area farmer.

He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Monroeville and enjoyed watching sports, traveling and spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Shirley (Siesel) Kluding; sons and daughters-in-law, Mark and Nancy Kluding of Blind River, Ontario, Canada, Michael and Patty Kluding of Norwalk, Ted and Tami Kluding of Norwalk, Steve and Missy Kluding of Monroeville and Nick Kluding of Chicago; daughters and sons-in-law, Judi and Tom Bollenbacher of Monroeville, Carrie and Bob Stieber of Norwalk, and Stacia and Keith Mainzer of Westerville; a brother, Lawrence Kluding of Norwalk; and 15 grandchildren.

Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Hinman-Tanner & Walker Funeral Home, 98 W. Main St., where services will be at 8:30 p.m. A Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 66 Chapel St., Monroeville, with the Rev. Lawrence Scharf officiating.

Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
