Fall is Fatal to Reed Resident

John Miller, aged 81, resident of Reed township for 45 years, died Thursday afternoon in his home along the North Greenfield road after an illness of two days.
He suffered a severe fall last week while walking around his home. The fall is thought to have brought on the paralytic attack Tuesday from which he never recovered.
Mr. Miller was born in Germany, June 7, 1845. He was a son of Joseph and Katherine Miller. The family came to the United States when he was nine years old. He was married in 1860 to Miss Elizabeth Seasly. Ten children were born.
These sons and daughters are left: Sister St. Philip of the Good Shepher Home, Cincinatti; George, Charles, Joseph, Otto Miller and Mrs. A. J. Hosang of Reed township; Mrs. Joseph Missler and Mrs. John Missler of Sherman township, Huron county; Mrs. Anthony Missler of Norwalk and Fred Miller of Bellevue.
Mrs. Blasious Schock, a daughter, died nine months ago. There are 32 grandchildren.
Mr. Miller was a member of the Church of the Assumption, Reed township. Funeral services will be held Monday morning at 10 o'clock in that church. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
