Life Events

BirthAssumed*He is assumed to have been born circa 1694 probably in Limbach, Kusel, Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany.1
He was the son of Johann Martin Westrich and Anna Eva Mehlinger
Biography*It is not yet proven that Johann Martin was the father of Johann Diedrich. Some researchers believe that Johann Diedrich is the same person as Johann Theodor Westrich, born in 1698 to Johann Martin and Anna Eva. However, he was still known as Diedrich when he married in 1718, so any name change would have occurred after that. Apparently his given name appeared as "Theodor" in the baptism record for one of his children, his daughter Elisabeth, and that is the source of the theory he is the same person as Theodor.
Marriage*Johann married Anna Eva Reiberscheits on 15 November 1718 in Catholic Church, located in Reichenbach, Kusel, Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany.2
