Death*Sylvester died on 16 January 1948 in Reed Township, Seneca County, Ohio, at age 22. He died at the home of his uncle and aunt, A. J. and Frances Hosang, from cancer of the face and jaw. He was ill for eight years prior to his death.1,2 
Burial*He was buried on 19 January 1948 in Assumption Cemetery, located in Reed Township, Seneca County, Ohio.1,2
